Someone who travels a journey of self discovery so they

can support others on their path as well as enlighten him or her self.

At first, I felt totally bewildered that all the tasks to cultivate the attributes of the spiritual warrior revolved

around love and care of self. Then I understood that as a spiritual warrior I stood in the center of my own circle,

aware and present with self in order to respond from intuition and intention, and not from past history.

I realized If I didn’t care for my needs, if I didn’t free myself from dysfunctional patterns, I would attempt to serve

from a place of personal need and lack. I would likely, unknowingly, act to fulfill my own unmet needs.

Once I cared for my needs, I could serve others with care and attention to their needs.

To honor all that lives and the earth herself starts when we honor ourself. When we care for self well enough,

to step into the world every day fed, watered and rested – ready to happily contribute to life.

  • Self-awareness – get to know myself
  • Self-appreciation – self-worth – I find value inside self
  • Self-acceptance – self-esteem – I know I do the best I can in the differing situations life presents me.
  • Self-pleasure – I care for myself and explore paths that bring me pleasure
  • Self-love – self-confidence – I explore the choices available and honor my freedom

to choose meaningful paths.

  • Self-actualization – self-respect – I know the grace of aligning actions with values and having fun
  • Impeccability – warrior’s freedom, stepping out of automatic reactions and acting from values and intentions.

I accept the response-ability to live a full, meaningful and vibrant life.
